Year 1–3 Students Experience Learning Beyond the Classroom

At Mutiara International Grammar School (MIGS), we believe that meaningful learning extends beyond the classroom. Our Year 1, Year 2 and Year 3 students recently embarked on a series of exciting educational field trips, giving them the opportunity to explore nature, culture and creativity through hands-on experiences.

The adventure began at Sunway Lagoon Wildlife Park, where students discovered a fascinating variety of animals from around the world. They learned about wildlife conservation, observed different species up close and developed a greater appreciation for the natural environment through interactive exploration.

The learning journey continued at Kraf Kompleks Kuala Lumpur, where students were introduced to Malaysia’s rich cultural heritage. They explored traditional crafts, gained insight into local artisanship and discovered the importance of preserving cultural traditions for future generations.

To end the week, students visited Jolly Art & Pottery in Puchong, where they expressed their creativity through fun art and pottery activities. From painting to shaping their own creations, the session encouraged imagination, fine motor skills and self-expression while providing plenty of smiles and laughter.

These educational outings allowed our students to connect classroom learning with real-world experiences, inspiring curiosity, creativity and confidence. We are proud to provide opportunities that nurture well-rounded learners while creating memories that will last a lifetime.

We look forward to many more exciting adventures as our students continue to discover, explore and grow.
