Academic Scholarships

The MIGS Academic Scholarship Programme recognises students who demonstrate outstanding academic achievement, leadership potential, strong character, and a commitment to excellence.
Scholarships are available for eligible students entering selected year groups and provide an opportunity to excel in a supportive international learning environment.
Scholarship Application Requirements
Applicants should submit:
- Completed Scholarship Application Form
- Academic Results (CAIE or CAT4)
- Letter of Recommendation from Homeroom/Form Tutor
- Letter of Recommendation from Current School Principal
- Curriculum Vitae (CV)
- Student Admission Application Form (for new students)
- RM100 Application Fee (for new students only)
Scholarship Terms
Please note:
- Scholarships are limited and awarded on a first come, first served basis.
- Meeting the eligibility criteria does not guarantee a scholarship.
- Students may only receive one scholarship award.
- Scholarship recipients are expected to maintain excellent academic performance and exemplary conduct throughout their studies.
- The Scholarship Committee reserves the right to review, continue, or withdraw scholarship awards based on academic performance, conduct, and compliance with school policies.

How Students Are Assessed
Option 1
Cambridge Checkpoint
- English, Mathematics, Science scores
- Minimum 46+ (Outstanding Band) required
- Higher scores qualify for higher scholarship tiers
Option 2
CAT4 Assessment
- Minimum SAS 125 (Top 5%) for 50% scholarship
- Minimum SAS 120–124 for 25% scholarship
How to Apply
Step 1
Submit Application
Complete the MIGS Student Application Form and submit the required documents, including academic transcripts, a student CV, and two recommendation letters.
Step 2
Pay Application Fee
A non-refundable application fee of RM500 is required to process the scholarship application.
Step 3
Scholarship Assessment
Applicants will be assessed based on their academic results and performance in either the Cambridge Checkpoint or CAT4 assessment.
Step 4
Interview
Shortlisted candidates may be invited to attend an interview with the MIGS Scholarship Committee.
Step 5
Results Notification
All applications will be reviewed by the Scholarship Committee, and results will be announced by mid-June 2026.
