Innovation took centre stage at Mutiara International Grammar School (MIGS) as our campus welcomed the exciting KodingNext Space Exploration program. Students had the opportunity to immerse themselves in a hands-on learning experience, exploring coding, robotics and interactive technology designed to inspire the next generation of innovators.
Throughout the programme, students visited interactive coding booths, experimented with high-tech gadgets and discovered how coding can bring technology to life. Rather than simply observing demonstrations, they actively participated by interacting with the technology and understanding how digital commands control physical movements.
Learning Beyond the Classroom
The experience highlighted the power of experiential learning, allowing students to connect classroom knowledge with real-world technology. By engaging directly with coding and robotics, students developed valuable future-ready skills, including:
- Algorithmic Thinking – Understanding how computers and machines follow logical sequences of instructions, strengthening mathematical and computational thinking.
- Creative Problem Solving – Learning through experimentation, troubleshooting and discovering different ways to achieve successful outcomes.
- Digital Literacy – Building confidence with emerging technologies while understanding the relationship between software, hardware and automation.
Preparing Students for a Technology-Driven Future
At MIGS, we believe meaningful learning happens when students are encouraged to explore, create and innovate. Experiences like the KodingNext Space Exploration program help ignite curiosity while developing essential STEM skills that prepare students for tomorrow’s rapidly evolving digital world.
We extend our sincere thanks to KodingNext for bringing this inspiring programme to our campus and giving our students the opportunity to experience coding and technology in such an engaging and memorable way.
We look forward to more exciting collaborations that continue to inspire creativity, innovation and lifelong learning at MIGS.
