Mutiara International Grammar School (MIGS) is proud to announce our collaboration with the MIDP Youth Institute, an award-winning soft skills transformation institute under the Malaysian Institute for Development of Professionals (MIDP). Established in 2010, MIDP has empowered over 20,000 students across 17 countries to master the 4Cs of soft skills — Confidence, Communication, Cognitive, and Cultural — through its high-impact programmes in storytelling, public speaking, debating, and Model United Nations (MUN).

On 21 November 2025, MIGS and MIDP formalised our partnership through the School Partner Launch Signing Ceremony, signifying a shared commitment to nurturing articulate, confident, and globally minded students. Recognised by the Malaysian Government for its excellence in oratory and communication education, MIDP’s approach complements MIGS’s mission to provide a well-rounded, values-based education that develops both intellect and character.

As part of this partnership, MIGS will provide MIDP with a dedicated classroom every Saturday, beginning January 2026, to conduct its public speaking and communication programmes. The initiative will also be open to students from other schools, fostering a wider community of young learners passionate about confident expression, leadership, and critical thinking.

This collaboration reflects MIGS’s continuous efforts to extend learning beyond the classroom — empowering students to communicate with clarity, lead with empathy, and contribute meaningfully in a global context.
